Every ordinary thing is an antiquity that has not yet been taken seriously.
Photograph any object within arm's reach — a biro, a bottle cap, the mug you are currently ignoring — and present it at the accessions desk. Our Chief Curator will examine it, date it, invent its provenance, and write it a placard with the full gravity of the institution. The object then enters the Permanent Collection under a number, forever.
